We attended the wedding of Anita and Brent held at the Lakelands Golf Club, on the 5th of May. On the 5th of May, we attended the beautiful wedding of Anita and Brent, set to the stunning backdrop of Lakelands Golf Club on the Gold Coast. It was a beautiful venue, the room stunningly decorated in a classical design for the wedding reception. The photographer Lucas from Lucas Kraus Photography, followed them from their elegant ceremony and formal shots to the reception room, making sure to catch every moment of joy from the couple and their guests.
Our booth attendant Liz, set up one of our beautiful vintage pinstripe decorated enclosed booths, with a sleek black backdrop inside, black curtains covering the enterances so that the guests could be comfortable making silly faces and wearing the fun props.
Liz decorated the hat stand and prop table with a variety of wigs, hats, glasses, and other props. The guests approached the booth excitedly, lining up for multiple rounds of photos and showing their photo strips to each other as they thought up new poses and prop arrangements for the photos to follow.
Some guests took some lovely family and couple photos without the props, while others really got into the props, wearing as many as possible.
The guests partied the night away to favourite music of the bride and groom, played by DJ Drew Jackson from United DJ’s of the Gold Coast. With good music all night, the DJ never failed to make the guests dance. The DJ also acted as a MC, and introduced toasts from the loved ones of the bride and groom. The speeches brought tears to eyes all around the room.
